Meet our Myofunctional Therapist

Jen graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry with her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She went into dental hygiene because she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and believes a beautiful, healthy smile goes a long way in building self-confidence. She is a Kansas City native and moved to Plattsburg, Missouri with her husband in 2019. Jen has recently become trained through the International Association of Orofacial Myologists (IAOM), and has fallen in love with myofunctional therapy. Her goal is to help as many families who are struggling with tongue ties, thumb sucking, tongue thrusts, and mouth breathing through a fun and positive learning environment. Our small communities of Smithville, Plattsburg, and Weston are blessed to be offered these services by one of the only myofunctional therapists in the Northland! Myofunctional therapy goes hand-in-hand with airway-centered orthodontics, restorations, and sleep apnea treatment offered by Hildebrand Estivo Dental.
