Single or Multiple Tooth Implants

Dr. Robin, Dr. Matt, and Dr. Mike all feel that it is important for you understand exactly what dental implants are, and how they can improve the aesthetics and function of your teeth.

A single artificial tooth (crown) is used to replace one missing tooth. Each artificial tooth attaches to its own implant.

A partial prosthesis (bridge) can replace two or more teeth and may require two or three implants. A great benefit to using an implant for single or multiple tooth replacements is that your natural teeth are not altered during the restoration, like they would be for a traditional bridge.

A complete dental prosthesis (bridge or denture) replaces all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw. The number of implants needed varies depending on which type of complete prosthesis is recommended. See our implant menu for more information on implant supported dentures.
